Comment: This site and the museum look like great resources! I hope to make use of your resources in the future. I see you have Palmer family stories listed as a resource. My family tree includes Annis (Anna) Cordelia Palmer (b. 1826) who married Samuel Diltz and lived in LeRoy Township (Canton, I believe). I would welcome correspondence regarding these families, as well as Minard and Foss. |

Comment: Love the new look of your website!! I couldn't access the site through Netscape but after I linked your site to our school website, I decided to try and connect and it came right through. (Your site likes Outlook just not Netscape)I bypassed Netscape at home using AOL which doesn't have any problems either.I am showing your site to my web design students as a GOOD example of how to design a webpage.Congratulations! |

Comment: I grew up in LeRoy. We lived across the street from the garage; right there in downtown. I currently live in a tourist community. No history. No older houses. No one knows each other. I miss the small town atmosphere. Thank you for the work you are all putting into preserving this. |

Comment: I'm trying to find out anything about Ira(d) Holcomb who was born in LeRoy 17 Feb 1852. He was the son of Benjamin Holcombe and Lois Delight Chappell. Does any descendant of his sibilings know anything about Ira? There was a connection between him and my great grandmother, Ida Ives Dikeman, in Bradford, McKean, PA about 1880-1900. I'd appreciate any help. |

Comment: My Great Grandfather and his family lived in LeRoy PA from approximately the mid 1700's. They had originally come from CT and NY areas. Their last names were Rogers and Holcomb. They left PA in the late 1800's and settled in OK near Enid. I love you're web page. I have a strong desire to visit LeRoy to trace my families travels and heritage. |

Daniel was in the War of 1812. I am descended from his son George. Good luck on this venture. It is very important to preserve our history. Comment: I have participated in the familytree DNA project & am somewhat new to tracking down the geneology of the Holcombs. I have located the gravesite of Sterling Holcomb in Sugargrove Pa. (Warren County) I believe that one of his sons (H. Orville Holcomb) is my great grandfather.. He is buried there also along with Hiram Eunice Lydia Sterling jr. If anyone can fill in the blanks for me I would be delighted. |
