In 2005, the LeRoy Heritage Museum established the Albert T. Lilley Community Service Award. This award is given in the form of a plaque that is presented at Members Day in August. It is given in memory of Albert T. Lilley, who was a respected member of the LeRoy community. Among the many activities that he was a part of, or that he founded, Lilley was a local historian in LeRoy for many years. He often collected historical artifacts found in the township. Lilley was also a charter member of the Bradford County Historical Society, later serving as President or Vice President for many years. We look forward to presenting this award in memory of A.T. Lilley, who did a great deal to preserve the history of LeRoy.
